About the Provence day trip: Mont Ventoux cycling - Challenging

Day trip info

• This is a FIXED rate, from 1 to 4 participants maximum with 1 private guide
• We confirm the private tour within 7 working days (subject to availability)
• From Monday to Saturday 

The ride

• Mont Ventoux is arguably the toughest thing you can do on a bike in France. 
  It's only suitable for those who are fit, and used to sustained high-intensity cardio exercise, lasting several hour sat a time, and preferably cycling experience on very hilly terrain.   
• We strongly recommend using E-bikes to make the riding more accessible to less experienced riders (with a supplement): we can also provide you with a E-road bike

The program of the day 

• Start of the day: 9AM in Bedoin
• Loop Ride
  . Option 1 - Bedoin > Mont Ventoux > Malaucene > Bedoin 
  56km / 34.7 miles - Ascent: +1600 m / Descent: -1600 m
  . Option 2 - Bedoin > Mont Ventoux > Via the spectacular Nesque Gorge > Bedoin 
  90km / 34.7 miles - Ascent: +1600 m / Descent: -1600 m
• End of the day : around 4 to 5 PM in Bedoin

INCLUDED

• 1 English and French-speaking cycling guide during the day tour
• 1 ROAD bike rental - helmet included
• 1 lunch picnic or restaurant

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING -  You will need:

• Comfortable gym clothes are sufficient or you can choose to wear bicycle-specific clothing (bib-shorts and a cycling jersey) 
• Wind/Rain jacket in case of wind, bad weather that can be store in your backpack (recommended)
• a collapsible backpack to store your items
• gloves and a warm hat (beanie) for the summit; it can get cold up on Ventoux and on the descent!  
• Running shoes for the flat pedals
• Sun hat, sun protection (hat, sun cream)
• Bottle of water
