" We had no trouble finding our route. We especially enjoyed hiking into Piene Haute on the first day, and into Ste Agnes. We so appreciated the hospitality of Pina at the BB Iris and her cooking is fantastic. We are grateful to have had time in Ste Agnes and appreciated the hospitality of the Hotel Saint Yves family. In both cases we thank our hosts for the English they speak and how they welcomed us. The Princess Richmond is very nice. We found a wonderful bakery across the street and down a bit from the Princess Richmond. Our time with local people and seeing the villages and homes of the Maritime Alps and Menton were highlights.
I have already looked on your website and will check on it when we are thinking of traveling again.
This trip was our first experience with a self-guided trip (or a trip of any kind), and also this was our first experience traveling to Europe. Thank you for providing us an excellent experience all around. We loved it!"

" The scenery was wonderful but we were so anxious that we were not on the right track that it took a bit of the enjoyment out of the walk.
We saw very few people on both days which was also disconcerting thinking we were on the wrong track. Do not get me wrong we love getting off the beaten track but better signage would have given us more confidence to enjoy."

" A short walking getaway in the back country of the famous French Riviera, where you will discover authentic mountain villages, with a combination of italian and French culture & architecture. Beautiful panoramic hikes on ancien trails through forest and olive groves. The last walk from the perched village of St Agnes to Menton is breathtaking. There are only very simple yet genuine 2* hotels in the back country. But you will be able to enjoy more comfort in Menton with 2 levels of accommodation"
