Luberon cycling: short and sweet - guest reviews

Diana & Matthew from Canada - March 2022

The highlight of our trip : How quickly the tour was put together in shoulder season. Quite roads with respectful drivers

The Track finders

What’s great about a cycling holiday is that you can cover a huge number of kilometres or miles in one day so even on a short and sweet trip, you get to see a great deal of Provence.

Your base for this trip is Isle sur la Sorgue where the accommodation is simply superb, from simple through to prestige. Isle is a bustling town and if you can plan this trip to be there over a weekend, the Sunday market is a truly wonderful experience. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to restaurants and can easily spend an hour or two rummaging through the antique shops that line the quayside.

The rides themselves are moderate, so a bit of effort is required now and again to get up the hills to the perched villages. But hey, hire an electric bike and you will barely notice the climb!
