Birdwatching holiday from the Alps to Provence - guest reviews

As a passionate birdwatcher I have always been attracted to the tropics and their obvious ultra biodiversity and abundance of bird species. After years of extensive travelling and observation, my ornithology education was much more advanced. Upon returning to my home country I was amazed to note that the south of France was part of the few European temperate regions (with perhaps Spain and Turkey) where such biodiversity was thriving. This trip allows you to experience different ecosystems from the high mountains covered with dense forests dotted with rocky slopes or alpine meadows, to the freshwater or brackish marshes through the typical Mediterranean scrubland covering limestone hills or alluvial plains and discover the ornithological richness.
