The Verdon Gorge is perhaps a lesser known part of Provence, yet is is a truly beautiful natural phenomenon with 25km of startling turquoise green water and high jagged cliffs. Walking in the Verdon gorges is often pretty high up on the bucklist of experienced hikers and we do stress that you do need to be a good hiker with plenty of experience to fully enjoy and appreciate this tour.
