Walking through Van Gogh's Provence - guest reviews

Ronald & Meera - May 2023

" The highlights of our trip : Since we didn’t walk the last day I called the taxi and he was so positive and went out of his way to make it possible for us to have direct travel from Maussaune to Arles. Please let him know we appreciated his friendly service. Trip highlight was food tour in Avignon,, Glanum and Van Gogh in st Remy. Also enjoyed Arles. We spent an extra day there.
Nadia was great to work with. We made many changes prior to our final itinerary and she was so accommodating. I wish you offered a shuttle service from Marsielle airport to Avignon.
Great location for our hotel in Arles "

Brian & Katherine - June 2019

"Nice job with the detail; we have taken other walking tours and had to retrace our steps on many of the walks/hikes because we realized we did not clearly understand the directions. Not the case with Walk inn! Absolutely loved the Alpilles hike - we took the extension and walked the ridge; just spectacular.
Fanny Rey was the favorite meal of the trip, even more so than Oustau Baumaniare / chef Glenn Viel . The food and restaurant were spectacular!
Would you recommend us to your friends ? Absolutely would recommend you! Yes, we would travel with you again."

Hellen, Jill, Peter & Daniel - September 2018

"From the first contact with Intura my experience was positive.  All enquiries were met with a quick and friendly reply.  The organisation was thorough and professional.  Our itinerary and instructions arrived in plenty of time before our trip began, they were user friendly and easy to follow with enough detail to allay any travel anxieties.  The accommodation was excellent everywhere. Our four day walk was another wonderful experience. Thank you to the Intura team and we would all recommend you to anyone wanting to travel to your beautiful Provence."

Betsy - May 2018

"  The walks were absolutely wonderful! They were more challenging than we expected, but that wasn't a problem. What gorgeous countryside! I feel as if I saw a part of Provence I could never have seen on my own. We had a wonderful trip (except for much, much rain on the days we went from St. Remy to Les Baux and from Auberge des Sequins to Saignon!!!). The walks were gorgeous, the towns charming, and the hosts all very kind and helpful. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations in the book, too. I loved the hilltop towns--Gordes, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Goult, and Saignon. I loved walking along the Mur de Peste. Perhaps I would travel with Intura again, although there's a lot more of the world to see first! I would definitely recommend Walk Inn Provence to friends!"

Annette & Kimberley - October 2017

" Avignon was beautiful in October. The hike to Les Beaux was beautiful and fun. The cooking class was great. "

Denise & Eric - October 2017

" We enjoyed the walk especially being in the forests and nature and would highly recommend to other nature lovers. We would like to thank you for organising our trip ! "

Danna & Alex - September 2017

" Seeing an area we had not seen. It was totally different from all the places we had visited in Provence in our previous three week trip. Hotel Gounod was very special in all ways and a true treat. Les Baux and also the illumination were both wonderful. The hike to Les Baux was our favorite hike of the trip. As I mentioned above, we have loved your two trips we've done with you. We tell everyone about the Luberon Medieval Villages hike and will be sending more people. "

Maureen & Abe - September 2016

"We loved our "Intura” experience! We have the highest praise for the organization of the trip from A to Z, the reliability and clarity of the roadbooks as well as the quality of the accommodations. The sculpted white limestone outcroppings of the Alpilles are so spectacular and the views from the peaks so outstanding that we would definitely recommend the area to any avid hiker. Aside from the breathtaking beauty of the scenery, the Van Gogh walk had everything we were looking for: history, art, gastronomy and local culture. We particularly appreciated the historical, geographical and cultural information provided in the roadbook. Le Mas d’Aigret hotel was a perfect place to return to after the hike with its lovely view from the terrace outside our window and the restaurant space carved out of the rock. We have definitely recommended your organization to others. Thank you all again for organizing our amazing trip. It was the absolute best way to discover and enjoy beautiful Provence!"

Max & Allen - June 2015

“I wanted to emphasize how thoroughly pleased we were with the trip -- planning, hotels, meals, guides, response to questions and price. We've recommended you to several friends who inquired”

Nicholas & Marylin - May 2015

“The highlights for us were the wild flowers, the castle of Les Baux, walking from one hotel to the next without having to worry about our luggage. We really enjoyed our walking experience and that everything had been arranged for us.”

Goh & Lau - May 2015

“Everything was a highlight ! We were really happy with Mas d’Aigret. Staff was very helpful and food was really delicious. Notes were precise and easy to follow”

Phyllis & Natan - october 2015

“Everything was exactly where you said it would be. The book was very comprehensive and easy to follow. The walk from San Remy to Les Baux was stunning. Incredible scenery. Maussane was an interesting destination. A wonderful and stress-free vacation, even with our limited French. Thank you for making our Provence trip so special. “
