About the Normandy : Walking from the landing beaches to the Mont Saint Michel trip

The Normandy tour starts in Bayeux, a beautiful white stone town, close to the D-Day landing beaches and miraculously spared from the bombings. This small town is also famous for its Tapestry which depicts the conquests of William the Conqueror, and for its splendid Gothic cathedral.
